SymTex Digital

Software and automation for operational work that still depends on people copying data between systems.

We design and build internal tools, integrations, and applied automation for teams that need their software to match how work actually happens. No pitch theatre, no generic transformation language: just working systems you can inspect, test, and own.

What we build

Capabilities are organised around the work, not around a feature list.

Each engagement starts with a concrete process and ends with a deployed system with documented behaviour. We do not sell discovery as a deliverable; we question the process until the smallest useful automation is clear.

  • Workflow automation

Replace manual, cross-system routines with deterministic flows: validation, routing, notifications, and exception handling. Triggered by events or schedules, logged at every step.

  • System integration

Connect accounting, CRM, ticketing, and internal databases through documented APIs and queued workers. We handle retries, idempotency, and reconciliation reports.

  • Document processing

Extract structured data from invoices, forms, contracts, and email. Outputs are schema-validated and reviewed by a human before they reach a system of record.

  • Internal tools

Admin interfaces, review queues, and reporting panes built for the people doing the work. Plain server-rendered HTML, keyboard operable, no framework dependency at runtime.

How we work

A short fixed scope, then a working first version.

Most projects begin with a two-week scoping and architecture pass: required inputs, outputs, failure modes, and the smallest version that pays for itself.

From there we build in vertical slices, each demoable on real data within days. You see progress weekly, can stop at any point, and receive the source, schema, and runbook for everything delivered.

  1. Inspect the real workflow

We observe the current process, including the exceptions people actually handle by hand.

  2. Bound the first version

We define what is in scope, what is deferred, and how success is measured before writing code.

  3. Build against real data

Every slice is tested on production-shaped inputs, including malformed and missing cases.

  4. Hand over operations

You receive runbooks, monitoring hooks, and a named owner for follow-up changes.

AI Automation

Applied where judgement helps and review remains possible.

AI is a component, not a strategy. We use it for extraction, classification, drafting, and search inside workflows whose results are checked and corrected. We will tell you when a task is better served by rules.

Not sure this is a fit?

Send a short description of the process, the tools involved, and who owns it. We reply with whether we can help, what we would need, and a rough scope range. If not a fit, we say so and point you to better options.
